Steve Binder (swimming, 1975-79) was a four-time NAIA All-America in 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979 on the 400-yard and 800-yard freestyle relay teams.

Binder was a member of two NIC championship teams in 1976 and 1977. He set the NIC record in the 100-yard freestyle in 1976 with a time of 48.97 and was also a member of the school record 400-yard and 800-yard freestyle relay teams. He was an NIC champion in both the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle during his career.
