SMSU Athletics Hall of Honor
Julie Thein (women's basketball, 1987-91) is the most prolific scorer in program history. She led the team in scoring all four years of her career and is still the school's all-time scoring leader with 1,800 points (as of 2010).
A three-time all-conference selection, she is also the program's all-time leader in field goals made and rebounds (as of 2010). She still ranks in the top 10 in several career categories, including games played, steals, blocked shots, field goals attempted, free throws made and field goal percentage.
Thein was named one of SMSU's top 30 female athletes from 1970 to 2000.
