SMSU Athletics

Doug Fraunfelder has been a tremendous supporter of SMSU Athletics in various roles since moving to Marshall in 1992.

Fraunfelder has been a long-time member of the SMSU Mustang Booster Club, assisting the club’s Board of Directors in various roles, including serving as the Mustang Booster Club president.

Fraunfelder was active in numerous Mustang Booster Club events over the years, specifically the annual Gold Rush Raffle, in which he helped sell countless tickets and spent many hours collecting auction items from local businesses.

Fraunfelder was an employee at SMSU for 18 years serving as vice president of finance & administration.

Fraunfelder was active in many civic organizations in the Marshall community, including the Boy Scouts of America, the SMSU Gala Committee and Marshall Fine Arts Council.
