SMSU Athletics

Jim Babcock (community member) had a long relationship with SMSU as both a faculty member and member of the Mustang Booster Club.

Babcock came to SMSU in 1972 and served in various capacities around the University.  A faculty member of the Department of Business Administration at the school from 1972-99, he also served as interim vice president for Advancement and Legislative Affairs from 1995-98 and was also interim director of athletics for one month in 1997.  Babcock passed away in September of 1999.
