SMSU Athletics

Michelle Ruesink (softball, 1983-86) is one of the top pitchers in school history.  She was named All-NSC in both 1984 and 1986, while earning All-District honors in 1984, 1985 and 1986.

Ruesink was a major factor to SMSU's back-to-back conference championships in 1985 and 1986.  She broke seven school records during her four-year career and still ranks in the top 10 in several categories.

She was also a standout off the field, earning NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete accolades in 1985.
