SMSU Athletics

The 1985 Volleyball Team won the program''s first-ever conference championship and also captured its third straight NAIA District 13 title under head coach Jeri Madden.

The team finished 40-18 overall and was 11-1 in conference play.  The 40 victories still stands as a school single-season record for most victories in one season.

Kelly Drever, Jean Johnson, Lori Nangle and Jenny Wood all earned first team all-conference honors.
