SMSU Athletics

Brian and Kris Gruhot (community members) are avid supporters of SMSU and Mustang athletics.

Brian and Kris are owners of D & G Excavating in Lynd, Minn., have been active members of the Mustang Booster Club, serving the club in various capacities.

Brian served on the Mustang Booster Club executive board, while both have served on several Mustang Booster Club and other University committees. Brian and Kris are actively involved in organizing and selling tickets to the annual Mustang Gold Rush Raffle, one of the largest fundraisers for SMSU athletic scholarships and are very active in the annual Mustang Booster Club membership drive, helping recruit new members and promote SMSU athletics.

Brian and Kris are both involved in numerous civic organizations, including The United Way, Southwest Minnesota Orchestra, Shriner’s, Knights of Columbus and Mustang Booster Club. Kris is a 1992 graduate of SMSU.
