SMSU Athletics Hall of Honor
Nancy Trebbensee (women's basketball/track/softball, 1980-85) was a four-year standout in basketball earning first team all-conference honors three times.
A native of Wintrop, Minn., Trebbensee was also named NAIA honorable mention All-America in both 1983 and 1984 and finished her career as the school's all-time scoring leader and currently ranks fifth all-time (as of 2010) in scoring. She led SMSU in scoring her last three seasons.
Trebbensee also played four seasons on the SMSU softball team from 1982-85 and still ranks tied for 10th in school history in triples. She was named all-conference in 1984.
Trebbensee was inducted into the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Hall of Fame in 2008.
